On December 22, the 7th national knitting innovation technology seminar with the theme of "digital intelligence leading sustainable development" was held in Pingnan County, Guigang City, Guangxi Province. Senior experts, professors from colleges and universities and representatives of demonstration enterprises were invited to discuss topics such as intelligent, efficient and sustainable development of the national knitting industry, innovative application and product development of knitting technology, intelligent realization path and latest achievements of knitting equipment, so as to lead the linkage between upstream and downstream of the industry and promote the high-quality development of the national knitting industry.
At the meeting, Qu Jing, vice president and Secretary General of China Knitting Industry Association, made an important report on the operation situation and development direction of the knitting industry entitled "integrating into the double cycle and opening up the development space of the knitting industry". Meng Jiaguang, Professor of Xi'an University of engineering, and other experts respectively discussed "intelligent product innovation" Make a special report on the research progress of industry cutting-edge technology "knitted fabric modeling and simulation" and other industry hot topics.
Different from previous conferences, this conference innovatively opened the link of "famous enterprises and Teachers Forum", and invited four expert managers and chief engineers from well-known production enterprises in the national knitting industry with technological innovation ability to give on-site speeches around the theme and share their valuable experience. The conference also included nearly 60 original papers written by more than 100 industry scholars and technicians, and 18 excellent papers were selected for recognition.
On the basis of issuing the recommended catalogue of knitting innovative technology and equipment demonstration enterprises in 2021, the meeting also issued certificates to the knitting innovative technology and equipment demonstration enterprises selected as the "cooperative unit of Pingnan textile and garment industry development center".
